BDP International acquires Seabreeze Argentina, SA

PHILADELPHIABDP International, a global logistics and transportation management company, said this week it has expanded its presence in Argentina by acquiring Seabreeze Argentina, SA, an international freight forwarder.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Nación Fideicomisos S.A. has contracted Royal Boskalis Westminster and Allseas Group to construct a 38 km gas pipeline through the Strait of Magellan in southern Argentina.
The pipeline is to be 24 inches in diameter and is due for completion by the end of this year. It will connect Cape Espiritu Santo and Cape Virgenes and will provide an important link for gas field in the south to connect with the main gas network of Argentina.
The contract is worth $US253.4 million. Boskalis is to provide trenching and backfill works for the pipeline as well as execute near shore pipe pulls and landing of the pipeline. Allseas will complete pipeline construction.

A consortium of Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. and Allseas Group S.A. has been appointed for the construction of a gas pipeline through the Strait of Magellan in Southern Argentina. The agreement was signed during an official ceremony attended by the President of Argentina, Mrs. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
